Comparative study of three experiences of university education online and at a distance

Abstract

New routes in the research of the constituent components of modern, open and distance education are being opened: educational agents, academic contents, evaluation of learning and computer tools or applications as modular platforms of free access. Here, a comparison is made between the experiences in three different institutions of higher education and in teacher training in both on line and distance education, using the Learning Management System (LMS) or modular or integrated platforms as they are known. It is out of the question whether technology is present in the daily acts of people, in social or educational interactions or not. The naturalization of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), from the users earliest ages and adaptation are reasons for reflection.
