Dr. Marco López-Paredes - Editor-in-Chief
Associate professor and researcher at the Communication Observatory (OdeCom) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. With a Ph.D. in Communication and an outstanding academic trajectory, he has focused his work on topics related to digital communication, media studies, and distance education. He has directed research projects on the impact of new technologies on society and education, with a particular emphasis on how digital media are transforming communication in educational contexts. Dr. López-Paredes is recognized for his interdisciplinary approach, collaborating with various academic groups and leading initiatives that foster dialogue between communication studies and other disciplines. He has several publications in international journals and his work has been key to strengthening communication research in Ecuador.

Dr. Jorge Cruz-Silva - Associate Editor
Prominent academic and professor at the Communication Observatory (OdeCom) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. With a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences, he has focused his research on areas such as strategic communication, digital media analysis, and organizational communication. With a solid academic career, he has led projects that explore the relationship between the media and their influence on public perception, particularly in the Latin American context. His studies in digital communication and his collaboration with international institutions have allowed strengthening the links between academia and industry. Dr. Cruz-Silva is an advocate for the use of technology to improve communication processes within organizations and has authored several articles in scientific journals of international impact.

Dra. Paula Renés Arellano - Associate Editor
Tenured Professor in the area of Educational Theory at the Faculty of Education of the University of Cantabria (UC), Spain. Her teaching and research lines are linked to media and digital education, as well as values education. Following this framework, she is the author of numerous articles in national and international scientific journals and has participated in various competitive projects, conferences, and seminars.

Dr. Fernando Gutierrez-Cortés - Tecnológico de Monterrey, State of Mexico Campus
Director of the Humanities and Education Division at Tecnológico de Monterrey, State of Mexico Campus; Member of the Board of Directors of the Media Ecology Association (MEA); and General Coordinator of “The World Internet Project” for Mexico (WIP MX); Full Member of the Mexican Academy of Communication.

Dra. Patricia De Casas-Moreno - University of Extremadura, Spain
Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Huelva with International Mention, specializing in Media Literacy and Educommunication. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Extremadura, in the Faculty of Documentation and Communication Sciences. She is a member of the Comunicar Group, associate editor of the Comunicar Journal, and is part of the Ágora Research Group of the University of Huelva, as well as the Euro-American Interuniversity Network Alfamed.
