Abstract

This paper analyzes the coverage carried out by three independent websites in Argentina - LatFem and Marcha, both from Buenos Aires, and La Tinta from Córdoba - during the first half of Javier Milei's government (January to June 2024), in a political context marked by the conservative agenda related to neoliberal politics and access to social rights. Through this empirical research, based on parameters from the reference bibliography, the aim is to discuss the practice of activist journalism based on the experience of the selected communication vehicles, with an emphasis on criteria such as themes, modes of production and narrative. The results of the study reveal the presence of resistance movements in the guidelines of said vehicles and the treatment based on perspectives that subvert the hegemonic logic of journalism. The valorization of journalism experiences linked to social and feminist movements aims to promote knowledge about political disputes on the gender agenda, focusing on the particularities of the way of doing alternative/independent journalism in Latin American scenarios.
