Abstract

This investigation is a case study that has as main objective to identify discursive differences between two printed media with the highest circulation in the city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico La Crónica de Baja California from the frontier zone of the Mexicali Valley and The Imperial Valley Press from the Imperial Valley, California, United States, About the subject of drug trafficking considering these elements in the media as fundamental factors that contribute to the perception of the environment.


This is a comunicology investigation with, descriptive origin that becomes interpretative due the fact that evaluates the data obtained in the investigation. Using the bibliographic research, analysis of documents, content analysis of communicative products, as well as the analysis of discourse.
