Aesthetic enjoyment, life experience and society images of gildas

Abstract
The study deals with the television miniseries Os últimos dias de Gilda (Gustavo Pizzi; Brasil, 2020), based on the premise that fictional images, aesthetically arranged on canvas, articulate meaning effects that generate communicative links with physical and social spaces and can thus acquire a kind of symptomatic functioning. In this perspective, we allusively approach the final images of the mentioned audiovisual work to selected images of women holding seats in national-level parliaments occupying decisive spaces of power. The concept of “feminicídio político”, proposed by Renata Souza, and the intersection between aesthetic procedures and social realities are brought to light. Finally, we consider that these imagistic discourses show how the female body becomes the subject of the scene – whether in the fictional universe of the miniseries or as in everyday life experience in society.
