Bibliometric analysis of scientific production on organizational innovation in Web Of Science

Abstract

The aim of this manuscript is to describe through bibliometric indicators the scientific production related to organizational innovation in Web of Science. scientific production related to organizational innovation in Web of Science. Articles related to organizational innovation (n=357 papers) were crawled to scrutinize production, topics, temporal distribution and collaborative networks. A predominance of articles in English was observed (95.52%), where bibliographic reviews are represented by 5.88% and articles by 94.12%, with England being the country with the highest number of publications. It is concluded that the bibliometric study allows identifying different research opportunities on organizational innovation, recognizing that the scientific production between 2000 and 2021 has a gradual growth with an average annual growth rate of 48.51%, and the main journals are located in the upper quartiles, providing greater visibility and possible quality of publications.
